Other practical details.
- We are obliged to have each guest fill in a form to register with the local authorities.
- Electricity power is 220 volt, 2 pin plugs are used.
- Do not drink tap water. You can order bottled drinking water from our staff.
- Our white towels are not meant to be used at the beach in Amed. Ask for special towels.
- Use our garden shower after visiting the beach and before swimming in the pool.
- Make your own arrangements with the staff about any extra services and their attend ance during the day.
-Tips are at your own discretion and will be divided amongst the staff if you want to.Please tell manager Putu what you want. Only the driver/guide works freelance. If you wish, you can tip him personally.
-You can reach Amed village-center by walking along the beach, or over the paved road. Both will take you about 20 minutes. Walk slowly in the heat!The town of Amlapura is half an hour by car or scooter. In the morning you can go there by minivan. The staff can tell you where to stop them to get on. You can also rent a scooter. Ask The staff for advice! And if you can’t drive a scooter yourself, the staff will take you on the backseat. Use a helmet for your own safety!

Amed offers various Warungs (food stalls) and restaurants for eating out and shops.
Culik
5minutes by car or motor. In the village you will find local food-marked and other shops.
Amlapura
Visit Amlapura for banks and ATM machines, a post office and internet connections. Here you will also find large supermarket, a big local market and different shops.
